Her legs didn't reach the ground so she swung them restlessly, hands gripping the edge of the seat to keep from picking at the scab on her thigh peeking from under the edge of her skirt. Her skirt was green with a blue dragon coiled around from the hem all the way to her waist. She had named him Hani after a dragon from the story book her father read to her. The scab on her thigh would be her favourite, even if she had cried hot tears into her father's robes after she landed on the branch after falling from her toy broom. The stick drove in deep, and the mediwitch had said it had scraped her bone. She couldn't see that scar, but she could feel a tenderness still when she put weight on her leg. On the surface, the scab looked like a plant vine, with a straight stem that curled at the end. Nerys traced it with one finger, a pursed frown shadowing her face .It had meant ice cream and bed rest for two days after the healing so she didn't counteract the healing spell. But it also meant she had to sit out of Kidditch practice for two sessions. To try to cheer her up, @olivia had brought Nerys along to the pitch where team practice was. Nerys peeked around. Above her, the players darted like dragonflies high on their brooms. There was only her good word that she wouldn't wander. But as long as she made it back before practice ended, what harm could there be in exploring the stadium.
Nerys slid from the seat and crept away, wandering into the halls beneath the stadium.

Gavin tended to be more of a father's kid then anything else. He followed his dad around and did whatever Oliver did. But today that wasn't the case. Instead Oliver had needed some moments without the younger male, so Gavin was supposed to be with his sister and his mother. Sure, as soon as they started doing something, he'd wandered off. But then he ran into his sister as they were sneaking around.
"I'm gonna steal a broom and get into the sky." It was probably the best way to see he was related to his father. He had an obsession with the sky and flying. All he wanted to do was get up into the air.
"Me too." Because whatever older brothers could do, she could do too with an extra measure of grit and determination. There was no business of too small or young. The only difference was body size. Sometimes Nerys felt bigger than her small form. A certain stirring energy like when she lost herself in the blueness of the sky. A sea in reverse with its own breezy currents. "I want to get in the sky too and soar!" She still had never figured out how high brooms could go, and no one's answers had been satisfactory yet.
