It was weird, being friends with Athena. There was a time when Dani had absolutely hated the girl. But, things had changed. She'd seen how much her dad truly cared for this person and....she'd come to sort of tolerate her. She wanted her dad to be happy, more than anything. She'd realized that a while ago, when Athena had been missing, and she'd seen how upset he had been. She helped him in a way Dani couldn't possibly understand, but she knew it was important.
Today, she had arranged to meet Athena, as they sometimes did. She was hoping the older girl had scored her some Quidditch season passes, as she had begged her to on their most recent visit. She was actually growing to see Athena as a friend, as odd as the whole dynamic was. She was running late, though, and knew Athena wasn't exactly fond of being left to wait. She'd been flying in the pitch and lost track of time.
Practically sprinting into the village, blond hair flying like a banner behind her, Dani searched the horde of students for Athena's dark head. Finally finding her, she skidded to a stop, leaning down to catch her breath. "Sorry I'm late! I was flying." She said in a rush. Straightening, she pushed her long hair out of her face, meeting Athena's gaze. "Did you get the passes?"
