Any self doubts that had lingered in the last few months of her fourth year at Hogwarts appeared to have dissipated in the following weeks. There is a lightness about Sayaka that follows as she takes her time to look in the shop windows of Diagon Alley. Upon her parents own insistence she's donned familiar Gryffindor robes, the prefect's badge gleaming against her chest. It was embarrassing enough, but among their English peers her parents seemed to find it ever necessary to present some level of authority.
She didn't seem to have much of a mind for it at the moment, what with her robes unbuttoned to reveal the muggle clothing underneath (much more fashionable in its own right, thank you very much). One arm adorned with a littering of bags while her free hand holds a humorously toppling ice cream cone. The girl appeared to be diligently trying to finish it before it melts all over her hand--
A task that is not quite working as she intended. Especially not when a toddler rushes by chasing after a cat and she has to spin out of the way mid-step. It's saved just in time though and the girl heaved a sigh of disbelief.
"Daijoubu," she hissed under her breath to herself as a sort of mantra, "dai-jou-bu--"
At least she was just about done shopping for the day.

Pike had no issue moving all around Diagon Alley. There was something about it that calmed him down. What was he supposed to do? There had to be something he could pick up. Petra was busy doing whatever it was she did. But that was just fine with him. Maybe if he ignored her for long enough she'd stop asking him about his mental state? He was doing better, but that never seemed to be enough for her. Apparently her roommate's brother said something that bothered her? Or something like that. He could never figure out things.
He stepped in and out of stores without too much trouble. He was able to pick out a few things and at least get ready for the next year. He was going to be able to be set for classes and the like. "Why are you talking to yourself?" Talking to someone he didn't know wasn't like him at all. And yet, here he was doing exactly that. Maybe there was something wrong with him? He wasn't fully sure though. He'd deal with that bridge when he got there.
