Everything in Julian's day was going along pretty well. He had been doing a decent job and he liked getting to move around. Training was going well for him, but Romeo had given him the day off. Now that he had off time, he wasn't really sure what to do. If he didn't get to go see Romeo, he almost wasn't sure what to do with his time or energy. After all, they saw each other almost all of the time. Maybe he could just wander over to go see Romeo? He had a vague idea of where the other male lived.
But rather then showing up at his boss's place unannounced like a stalker, he figured he'd just go to the Leaky Cauldron. At least this would be okay. He snagged a seat without too much trouble. While he was planning on what he wanted to eat or drink, he was also trying to look around the room. This should be just fine. Maybe he'd get lucky to snag someone to talk to? He liked people.
Tarja had not been in the UK all that long but she already found the country to be weird and kind of stressful compared to back home. Luckily Durmstrang was nothing like Finland so the change was not actually all that big. She wanted to expand her world and see more of the world in general. She figured moving to a different country would probably do the trick. Plus, the job she managed to land in the ministry was exactly what she wished for. Despite her love for Finland she had not been lucky and hadn't been able to get her dream job there. So UK it was. She had some friends from several holidays around so it helped a lot. Plus she'd once upon a time dated a UK feller. It hadn't lasted beyond the summer though. Summer love was really an odd thing.
Tarja walked into the leaky cauldron and ordered herself a drink after what pretty much was a tiring day. She was still moving into the apartment she'd managed to get her hands on. She was due to start work in a few days and was slightly stressed. All she wanted was to sit and relax with a drink and settle in for the evening after she relaxed a little. As she waited for a while at the bar one of the other patrons (the drunk one) walked against her and ended up spilling beer all over her. "Vittu perkele saatana!" It came out as a reflex as she pulled her hands up and stepped away, even though it was too late already. Grumbling slightly she removed the beer stains from her clothes with her wand but she felt dirty. She quickly got her drink and sat down at a table, grumbling some more as she cussed in Finnish. Home sweet home. She looked around then and noticed some of the others. There was one fairly attractive young lad that had to be in about the same age category. Why did nobody back home flirt without alcohol? Natural and cultural shyness was her guess. Not her favourite. She downed half her drink. She conjured up a butterfly and fluttered it over to him, smiling slyly as it sat on his shoulder. If he noticed that was cool, but if he didn't she'd need some more liquid courage before trying to make a new potential friend. Why on earth was she shy anyway? It would always come back to bite her at some point it seemed.
JULIAN BASTIAN ROWLEY, I really do hope it's an okay starter. Finns are not naturally outgoing I discovered xD
