"The gallery? Like...an art gallery?" Edgar shifted in the seat to lean over the object. "What are 'videos'?" He knew it had something to do with seeing stuff, but that was as far as his brain could take him. "Hey...are those portraits of you?"

"Yes, kind of like an art gallery. But with less good art and more amateur photographs." He hadn't really thought of it that way before. It had always just been a thing. "Vidoes are like moving pictures but they don't talk to you and they just loop the same thing every time." When Edgar got a proper look at what was there, Kameron felt his cheeks heat up. "Yes, those are of me. They're called selfies. It's like a self portrait kind of."
"Definitely amateur," Edgar agreed. "This one looks nice." He gestured to one of the pictures of Kameron, not wanting to touch it, just like people didn't touch the art at art galleries. Videos were certainly interesting, like the rest of this Muggle...stuff.
"Selfie? What a...what a preposterous name." Edgar thought it sounded childish, like something a small human being might come up with. Is that really what Muggles called them? "This one looks nice too."

When Edgar pointed at and commented on the photos, Kameron felt his cheeks get warmer still from embarrassment. "Thanks, I guess," he mumbled. He didn't remark about selfie being a stupid name though because he agreed. He left the screen up for a moment longer before hitting the home button to close it. "That's enough of the pictures, pick another one."
Edgar hadn't been expecting a thank you, so he glanced at Kameron with a confused expression. He had only observed what he felt to be good photographs, and when a moment later the lion said that that was enough of them, Edgar practically pouted. "All right. What's this one?" He pointed to one at random, still not wanting to touch anything in case he somehow broke the fone.

Focus completely on the phone, Kameron failed to notice the confused glance, though that would have probably made things worse anyway. He honestly wasnt even sure what was worse: that someone was seeing the pictures he took or that it was the ones of him that got discussed. Either way, he was more than ready to move on, touching the screen where Edgar had pointed, ready to go through as many as they could.before it was time to leave the train.
@edgarhalifax Note: sorry for kind of waffling it. Otherwise we'd be on the train for 10 pages lmao
Edgar had enjoyed learning about the "Enter Net" and "Text Messages," even if they were such weird names and he was confused most of the time. He had asked a lot of questions and learned quite a bit by the time the train arrived at their destination, a fact of which he wasn't aware.
"Green means answer, red means...hang...up," Edgar repeated staring at the Phone Call option. "That's so bizarre. Are you trying to trick me?"

Trying to teach someone how to use a phone when they had no concept of Muggle technology at all was an interesting task that Kameron hadn't really thought he'd ever have to do. Things like this were as normal to him as air. "I have no reason to try and trick you," he pointed out, pausing to listen to what station was announced. "This is our stop. C'mon."
Edgar frowned. People really said "hang up" then? He looked up when Kameron said it was their stop and got out of the seat with the other boy, whom he let lead the way. "Where are we now then?" He hadn't heard the announcement, and he had no idea where the train took people. The only train he had ridden took people from one place to another, and he was used to that.
"Really?" Edgar was somewhat amazed and somewhat confused. "So what are we doing...here?" As they went to the exit, the snake once again kept close to Kameron, afraid of getting lost in a crowd somewhere along the way. "What...what is there to do here?"

"Well," he said as they started down the street. "I was thinking about maybe the cinema? It'd be something new for you to experience without having to deal with people." There was the risk of the snake not being able to keep quiet with his questions, but Kameron felt like he could deal with that if he needed to.
"Sin...sin Emma," Edgar repeated. His eyes were dangerously narrowed now as he tried to make sense of the syllables. "What is that?" He was open to new experiences, especially if it meant keeping away from other people, at least for now. As they moved down the street, he kept noticing strange people, like a happy little girl with a candy bar and a busy man on a fone. London was bizarre.

"So you know how my phone had little videos on it? A cinema is a place you go to watch really long ones made by professionals," he explained as they walked. Not that he had much of an idea what was playing, so they'd have to figure that out once they got there. That was going to be fun.
Edgar wasn't sure how to feel about really long videos made by professionals. They would be good quality, at least, but did he have the patience to watch a really long video? It wasn't exactly like reading a book.
Nevertheless, the idea of something new thrilled him, so worries aside, he would give it a chance with an open mind. "All right. What kind of...videos do they play at...sin...Emmas?"
