Fritz had mixed feelings about the weather getting colder. On one hand, he liked the cold. More specifically, he liked the snow. On the other, it made being outside not quite as much fun. And he really did like being outside. Thankfully, it wasn't unpleasantly cold yet, so he could happily go out and practice quidditch.
Having made it properly onto the team now, he needed to prove that he was good enough to stay there. He didn't want to lose his position.
With an enchanted quaffle that would try to shoot, he flew up to the ring, doing a loop around the pitch first. Throwing the ball away from him, it soared for a little, before coming back towards one of the rings. He sped towards it to catch it.

Letting his anxiety about pleasing people get the better of him, Aemon found himself bundling up to go practice Quidditch. He'd only been a reserve the year before so it hadn't been as much pressure, but now that he had a spot as a chaser, he really wanted to be good at it. He didn't want to let his team down.
Practicing alone would mean that there was no one to guard the goals that he had to try and get past, but he could at least practice getting the Quaffle through. That was kind of important to be able to do, whether or not there was a person playing Keeper. It wouldn't matter if he couldn't get the ball in the hoops to begin with.
As he stepped out onto the pitch, he saw that someone else was already there. It wasn't his teammate but it was someone that appeared to be practicing Keeping. Maybe they could help each other? That would be nice, but he would understand if the boy wouldn't want to practice with someone on an opposing team.
Biting his lip, Aemon kicked off but didn't approach. He honestly wasn't sure how to deal with this situation. Maybe he'd just... get noticed. Then it wouldn't be him extending the offer and potentially getting rejected. Rejection was scary.
