Elliot is just a very large marshmallow. He's one of the healers at Hogwarts, and he loves his job very, very much. Elliot spent a lot of time sick from asthma when he was a kid, so he's very sympathetic to them. His childhood was pretty normal besides that. His mother spent a lot of time doting on him, and his father had a mustache and read the paper. His mother did spend almost a year in hospital his sixth year though, and his time spent there with her helped him make up his mind on what he wanted to do after graduation. Elliot spent several years in the pediatric ward there before transferring to Hogwarts recently. he still really wants to help branch the gap between wizard and muggle medicine one day and works on finding solutions to that in his spare time.
He's pretty much just a big lug of a guy. Very squishy and probably too nice for his own good. He tries to take care of everything, but kids are about the only thing he's capable of not ruining. His plants die, and his mother's finances were a wreck the one time he tried to help with them. he probably tries to kidnap at least one kid a year though and worries that they aren't wearing enough layers when they go home for the holidays. He's always very willing to go the extra mile no matter what though and tries to help everyone even if he fails.
He could use just about everything--whatever relationships you can think of throwing his way. <3
helana comes from relatively-new money. Her family made their fortune a while back doing something snooty like sugar mining (because I can think of absolutely nothing else besides the Bingleys when I think new money) and are fairly well off. Her family isn't particularly old or even that rich compared to some of the purer families though, so they have to work a little harder to hang onto their rung in society. growing up, helena was pushed to be her best and work hard which she did, and that is how she wound up in Slytherin to begin with. She still has a mountain of books around her flat, but she's just kind of weighing her options and figuring out life right now because sewing doesn't pay the bills turns out. she got a job in fashion though, and she's pretty happy being there until she can start her own line.
helena is super independent. her most recent relationship was long and ended badly, so she's just kinda done with people in general.
she's pretty open for everything as well. her friends are probably more slytheriny people, but she's not super supremist or anything. it's just kind of the circles her family runs in. she's good on loves as well unless you want them to have dated super early on. other than that, just throw stuff her way.
Oliver is just an all around american dad, except he's not american and no one but his kids probably want him as a dad. he loves teaching his kids everything from quidditch to golf, and probably tries to fix things in his spare time and has to call someone to fix his handiness immediately after. Oliver is, as always, your friendly, neighborhood Quidditch fanatic. He's Keeper for the Falmouth Falcons. He was captain on the Gryffindor team and was a reserve for Puddlemere United. Basically, if it's Quidditch, he's probably been in the background screaming about it at some point.
Outside of that, he's a real family man. He and his wife olivia started young, and the family just grew and grew. He loves them all dearly and would do anything to keep them safe. Being at the battle of Hogwarts and seeing so many kids die really took a toll on him, and he's very adamant that his kids aren't going to see something like that themselves. He feels the same way about his teammates the way he does about his family. Despite all the yelling he does, he means well and doesn't realize how into it he gets. He knows he couldn't do it without them and just wants them to succeed. Oliver knows he couldn't have made it to where he is without his family either and is very thankful to have them in his life.
He's open for friends, enemies, pretty much anything. I could see him having it in for a few of his rivals, past and present. He's pretty nice outside of that, so he's probably got a decent group of friends. Oliver is very happily married and set in that department, but he may have dated people back in school if they could put up with quidditch practice.
where to even begin with this guy. sascha and his family are originally from russia, but they moved to england about twelve years ago. they're basically a wizard version of the russian mob and were likely on the verge of getting caught and made a run for it. did they learn their lesson after that though? no. no, they did not. they're still running several illegal organizations in their new home, and have steadily been regaining their footing as a group in the past decade.
even though he's the oldest and heir, he really has the least amount of ambition of a slytherin ever. for the most part, he just likes hitting people and picking fights. he works more as an armed guard for the family than anything, but he has at least thought to start getting paid for doing it lately and has become a hit man for the ministry.
he really just likes people. he loves hitting them; he loves hitting on them. usually not at the same time unless they're into that. he at least tries to sleep with most things that cross his path. his mother would probably like to really see him settled down by now, but he's just out there in the world living life right now.
Theodosia is a very excited little first year. Her mother is from Japan and her father is from England. They lived in Japan until Theo was five which is when they moved back to England after her father's job transferred him back. She and her older brother still go back to Japan during the summer though which is where she gets to learn exciting things like tea ceremonies and the art of tomato growing. She's currently in a feud with their elderly neighbor in England over who can grow the biggest plants, and it's gotten rather nasty, Lucky for her neighbor, Theo is off to her first year at school and doesn't have quite the time to tend to them like she used to.
She's very curious about everything, and hasn't quite gotten the idea of tact. She expends most of her curiosity in exploring the castle and needs lots of explorations friends to join her on the quest. (The rest of her curiosity get spent on finding the best fertilizers and soil levels, but she mostly uses that knowledge for revenge and pulls few into it.) She could maybe use a few rivals or something as well. Theo is still very smol, so real dating might have to wait a while though.
trivia grew up in Verona and was surrounded by hundreds of lovebirds flocking to the city and Juliet's wall. She is quite the hopeless romantic because of it and going to school in france really didn't help either. Her parents owned a flower shop in town, and they always did really well with it. Her older sister was always a lot more ambitious than that though and immediately went to work in the secretarial offices of the Wizengamot. Trivia always looked up to her and followed in her footsteps, but, after a year, she realized how much she hated her life. She was never that ambitious. She didn't want to be on the Wizengamot or become Minister. She liked people and being out in the world, so she transferred to the obliviator offices shortly after. She very much loves her job, but it also scares her knowing that she could accidentally wipe away someone's whole life one day.
She puts a lot of herself into people. She's very fascinated with the idea of how much people can love one another and be together until the end.
She's in need of all kinds of plots right now, so feel free to suggest anything!
Despite what his name might lead you to belive, Valentine was, in fact, not born on Valentine's Day. He was born squarely in March to a hippie harpy mother and wizard father. Both are very free minded and inclusive. How they wound up with such a reserved child is forever a mystery. Valentine is quiet, though he did get his love of people from his parents. He likes to think; he likes to observe. He can hold a conversation just fine, but he doesn't always prefer it. he basically got the looks and none of his mother's veela charm when it comes to people. He much prefers analyzing people, figuring out how they tick, because he sometimes struggles to know how things work outside of his books and detailed notes. He likes facts, and it gets confusing when people don't stick to them. He also an obsession with the weather, fear of the water, and a nail biting habit if any of that is helpful.
Val probably has a large group of friends. He's not overly affectionate or the type who can easily go up to someone and start a conversation, but he is a friendly guy. He more than likely drifts in and out of groups all the time. He's probably got a few close friends he bothers with his cloud as well, but it probably also takes a very special kind of person to put up with that.
Since he is a little stand-offish, there's bound to have been a few people who have misconstrued this as him just being stuck-up. So. there may be people who don't like him
His love life is kind of a thing. I don't know if I see him having dated someone at this point, because homeboy's head is in the literal and figurative clouds. He's just kind of there and definitely on the ace spectrum. If it happens with someone, it happens, and he'll probably realize it's happened eventually?
