Lydia was meeting an old classmate for ice cream and to catch up. Ice cream was the best, even though it was February and thus technically it was too cold for this nonsense. Oh well, that was what hot cocoa and fudge were for, and it was inside so they would be fine. She made her way inside and took a seat at one of the booths to await Maia showing up to join her. She was facing the door so that she didn’t miss Maia walking in either. As she didn’t want the other woman sneaking up on her or anything.
Soon enough she saw her and gave a slight wave to signify where she was. The shop wasn’t crowded, but it wasn’t empty or anything. Also, with a hat on, Lydia could have been decently hard to spot if someone was just trying to quickly scan. She greeted the other woman with a smile. “Hello Maia, it’s been a while,” she said simply.
