Exams were over and the holidays were quickly approaching, which meant that the library was quieter than ever. There was hardly a student to be seen, so Raina took off her brunette wig and let her natural blonde locks tumble down her back, grateful for freedom. She sat down at the chair behind the library's main check out desk and leaned backward. Raina Accio'd a favorite book her way and then set her wand down on a small table next to her. She lifted the book up and picked up where she had left off last night before going to bed. Her mind began racing, reconstructing the world of the book in a way that no magic could replicate. That was what she loved about books. That's why she worked so hard on her own writing, despite a lifetime of teasing from her siblings. Raina knew that everything was only temporary, but the world that lived within those pages lasted forever.
Several hours had gone by and the sun was starting to set, casting an array of colors made even more brilliant by the stained glass in the windows of the library of Hogwarts. Raina yawned, pulling her attention away from her book for a brief moment to catch the time on the clock the hung from the middle of the room, a choice that reminded Raina of her time in New York City when she passed through Grand Central Station. The hour was late, and it was almost time for the library to close for the day. As she turned her attention back to her book, the presence of another was made aware to her by the sound of a voice speaking to her.
