Victoire would soonnstart school. Her days of wandering around the woods near her house would be over. Today her mother decided to take her to the park. She enjoyed a nice park day. Soon her mother would be taking her to pick up school supplies and she would be saying goodbye to her brother and sister. Today was the day she was going to relax and run around. She wore her favorite jeans and purple shirt. Her short blonde hair bounced around her shoulders as her green eyes looked around the park. She wondered if she would see any of her cousins at the park today. She loved playing with her cousins even though most were so much younger then her.
As they arrived at the park Vic began to run. She was headed to her favorite tree. This was the highest tree in the entire park and it was her favorite. She took a running jump and grabbed the lowest branch. Climbing up a few branches she smiled. Her eyes scanned the park wondering how anyone was going to have fun with her away at school. She laid back against the trunk and laid her feet across the branch before her.

here was snow all over the ground at the park - a pleasant reminder that winter was in full swing. Demi smiled. She loved the wintertime. Today, her mother had brought all three kids to the park for a day of fresh air. While Louis stuck close to Mommy, Demi watched as her older sister broke off from their little pack of people and headed straight for the tallest tree in the park. Demi followed behind, but at a more cautious pace - as much as she loved winter, she hated slipping and falling down on the ice. Some days she wished she had the same adventurous spirit as Vic, but then she would see the repercussions of Vic's adventures and then decide against it. Demi had no scars, and had no intentions of gaining any in the near future.
By the time Demi reached the tree, Victoire had already climbed up and was spread out on a branch. Rather than climbing the tree, Demi sat down on the ground and leaned back against the trunk. After a minute or two of silence, Demi plainly stated, "I'm going to miss you, you know."
