She didn't like studying in the library, not really. She thought it seemed a little stuffy and boring. Though, she did like the books - there were so many of them, so many she wanted to read! However, March had brought rain to the grounds, so studying outside simply wasn't an option. Today, she was huddled over a paper for her Potions class, her brow furrowed as she tried to reason out the ingredients. She should have asked Bellamy (not Bex, she was terrible at Potions) for help, but she couldn't find him anywhere. Figures - he was never around when it was useful.
Letting out a frustrated sigh, Summer closed the book with a bit more force than needed, and went off in search of another than may make the topic a bit more clear. Rounding the corner of an aisle, she tripped over her own feet, landing in a messy pile. Even more frustrated now, she attempted to gather herself, checking for injuries. Hearing a voice above her, she peered up at them, immediately shying away as she was afraid they'd be mad at her for being in the way.

A trip to the greenhouses really had been the worst idea she had had since she started school. The weather had looked promising--and by promising it had been a light drizzle. The greenhouses were technically inside, so it wasn't as if she was just sitting out in the rain. Something in her couldn't stand to sit around for more than one day without being surrounded by something green, so she'd taken the risk and wound up completely drenched in the process.
Downtrodden, she'd tromped back into the castle sopping wet returned to the dorms only long enough to change. If she couldn't be around plants, the least she could do was read about them. She needed a new fertilizer recipe anyway. Still sniffling, Theo decided she'd grab a few books out of the plant and potion section before finding a cozy spot by the fire to finish drying off while she read...and by a few she meant about twelve. Before she could finish looking though, someone landed on their face right in front of her, and it was all she could do not to drop her armful of books on their head.
"Oh my goodness, are you okay?" she asked as she peered around the stack. "Did I knock into you? I really should watch where I'm going better with all of these." Theo dropped them on the floor beside her and extended her hand to help the other girl.
Summer tripped over things a lot. She was kind of a klutz, quite honestly. It was something her two older, more graceful, Quidditch driven siblings would never understand. Not only did they somehow manage to have the utmost talent in the sky, she was pretty sure neither Rebekah nor Bellamy had ever fallen flat on their faces in the library before. She could feel her face reddening as she realized that someone had seen her trip, and she tried her best to straighten up, to not look at all bothered by the incident.
She spotted the semi-familiar face of a girl whom she believed to be a fellow first year. This, at least, was comforting - it was someone she'd seen around before, someone on her level, so to speak. "No, I don't think it was your fault." She said quickly. She hesitated, then took the offered hand, pulling herself up. "I'm just clumsy, is all. I didn't make you drop any of your books, did I?" She asked, suddenly concerned. Books were very important.
