Bouncing around from job to job had been difficult. But now Petra seemed to be settled. She enjoyed being a hit witch and she liked living with Athena. Sure, it was hard now that she was a little bit worried about Athena wanting her to move out so her boyfriend could move in, but she was trying to not focus on that. Instead she was going to just take one of her millions of cakes over to Romeo's place.
Pretty much since she'd met Sullivan, she'd been doing nothing but baking cakes. And now that she had the kitchen filled with cakes, she had to figure out something else. She'd more or less just barreled into Romeo's place. "I brought cake. If you want real food, I can cook you something." This was who she was. She'd break into someone's place and make them dinner. And it was Romeo, so she'd probably try to snog him later on.

Apparently Romeo had forgotten to lock the door when he came home and passed out on the couch. This was not something that was unusual honestly, but perhaps he should try to remember that a little more often so that he wasn’t surprised by someone randomly bursting in and offering him cake. Okay, that would always be surprising regardless of whether he was awake or asleep. Right now though it just made him jump awake and fall off the couch. After a minute of remembering where the heck he was he noticed Petra offering him cake and actual food if he wanted it. Oh, well okay that was fine. ”Hi Petra. When did you get here? What time is it even?” he asked sounding a little groggy and confused. He had just woken up, so that was probably to be expected. He was not the most coherent person when woken up, and so it was going to take him a minute before he actually got up off the floor.
”Cake makes excellent breakfast, so cake is fine.” he said with a slight chuckle. He made himself and his sister cake all the time, so having it when he first woke up was nothing new. It wasn’t healthy, but he didn’t particularly care. It wasn’t as if it was something he did every day, just when he felt like making cake. He dragged himself off the floor and stretched before yawning. ”Did you come over just to give me cake or did you have another reason?” he asked curious as to why she had really just sort of burst into his house with no prior warning. Unless of course she had sent an owl and he just sort of slept through it. That was entirely possible too.

Really Petra should feel bad about just barging in on Romeo, but she couldn't help it. They had a connection. She hadn't fully figured it out, but they had one. She felt it whenever they were together. And it helped that he was the first person she'd wanted to see or be with in a long time. It was the first time she felt her blood heat up like she'd heard teenagers talk about at school. "Oh um. I just got here. Was offering to make you food though." As if that would make up for the fact that she just sort of barged into his life at the moment.
"I came because I wanted to see you." As if that was all of the reason in the world. It helped that she had to get out of the house. "And there are far too many cakes at my house now." Sure, she baked them all. But she got most of her thinking out while she baked. Placing the cake on a counter, she did move over to him and press a kiss to his lips. Better.
"Do you really want cake for breakfast?" She didn't care to cook. She liked cooking, since it made her feel useful.

Romeo only minded when people barged in if it was someone he didn’t like. Petra was fine though, as clearly they were fooling around. Anyone he was sleeping with was more than welcome to just sort of barge into his house and request his attention. He wasn’t the most articulate when he first woke up, and was rather confused as to why he was in his living room. Apparently he had sat down on the couch to read something and passed out instead. Which, wasn’t surprising, he’d had a long night and couldn’t be bothered to walk up the stairs to his bedroom. Really it was probably a miracle he hadn’t fallen asleep on the stairs or something. She commented upon just getting there, and that she was offering to make him food. ”Oh, well as long as you haven’t been standing there trying to wake me up for an hour.” he said idly with a slight smirk. That would have been less than ideal after all. Though, admittedly, he was still tired. How long had he even slept? He was pretty sure it wasn’t enough.
He was curious as to if she wanted something in particular, but apparently she just wanted to see him. ”Oh. Well. Alright.” he managed before yawning and stretching. At least he was sitting up now instead of just flopping about on the floor. Then she added that there were too many cakes at her house. ”I know the feeling, but usually I end up eating an entire cake or two when that happens.” he said simply. Then she asked if he really wanted cake for breakfast and he smirked slightly. ”If you were cooking me something while only wearing an apron I’m sure I could be persuaded to have something other than cake.” he teased with a grin. If that wasn’t an option he would take cake though.

"Believe me, if I'd been trying to wake you up for an hour, you'd wake up a very happy man." Because there were some x rated ways to wake someone up. She had never done it, but she'd thought about it. And she was pretty sure that Romeo wouldn't mind. He liked sleeping with her. He seemed to like sex. So what if he woke up to some sort of sexual act? It would be interesting in her mind. But lately she hadn't been able to catch him asleep hard enough to attempt waking him up that way.
Her eyes narrowed at him. "How about I wear my bra and underwear and the apron over that?" She was still trying to get used to being naked around anyone. Sure, Romeo had seen her without anything on before. But she didn't know what she needed to do in order to make it work. How could she make him happy? Wasn't there supposed to be something about the mystery of seeing a girl in her underwear that guys liked?

Romeo snorted in response to Petra’s retort. ”I suppose I’ll just have to pretend to still be asleep next time you come in.” he teased with a wink at her. He would not mind in the slightest if she was going to wake him up like that. He never slept very hard, so he’d just have to pretend to still be asleep if she wanted to try waking him up like that. It was definitely not something he would complain about certainly. Anyway, the real problem there was the fact that he sort of jumped on reflex when someone burst into his house. Maybe if she warned him she was coming over in the morning ahead of time it would work better? They’d have to figure out the details later he thought.
She was eying him, and he just grinned. ”That is also a very convincing argument in favor of having breakfast.” he commented with a slight smile. It was arguable that you should probably not cook some breakfast foods while not wearing anything. Bacon, for example, was a bad food to cook while naked. Unless you were into getting burned, but he was pretty sure Petra wasn’t. He might be a bit of a masochist, but he was fairly certain that she was not. Also, there was a difference between getting burned by food and getting burned for fun. Anyway, that was not important right now. ”Are you going to be making breakfast in your underwear then?” he asked her with a smirk and a raised eyebrow. If she wanted him to have breakfast and was willing to make it like that then he was not going to turn her down.

Petra worried about Romeo. It was part of who she was. She wanted to make sure the world was fine as she moved on and also made she that she was fine. The world's needs came before her on. This was true, as it had always been. But she didn't know if Romeo ate real food or if he just ate junk food.
Without responding, she removed her shirt. "Natrually I am." Before she would have had issues with her naked body around a boy. But this wasn't just any boy. This was Romeo.
He asked to confirm if she was making breakfast or not, and apparently she was. Well, he wasn’t going to complain about that. ”Well okay. What’s for breakfast?” he asked her curiously as she took off her shirt. Maybe he could just have cake as a snack later. He really didn’t eat only junk food, it just seemed to be what he was eating most of the time when people were around for some reason. He did know how to cook too, he just sometimes felt lazy and only wanted snacks all day instead.
He finally picked himself up off the floor and stretched a bit. With a slight smirk he leaned over and kissed her on the cheek quickly before making his way to the kitchen. The healer took a seat at the island in the middle of his kitchen so that he could watch her cook. ”Do I need to find you an apron or do you know where they are by now?” he asked her with a raised eyebrow.

Petra had a bad habit of just taking over most people's kitchens. And Romeo had kissed her on the cheek, so nothing else really mattered too much. It was too perfect in her world. "I know where they are by now." She knew were everything in his kitchen was. But she found her favorite apron and slid it on without too much trouble. See? Everything was good. Now she just needed to start cooking.
"Well I was thinking pancake, sausage and eggs?" It would be a fair amount of food, but it made her feel a lot better. Just knowing that he was eating well made her feel a lot better. There was something about making sure that everyone ate well that made her feel better. She'd take care of Romeo and Athena, even if those were the only two people he could help take care of.

He had been pretty sure that Petra knew where everything in his kitchen was by now, but he figured he would ask anyway just in case. It was possible she took over a lot of kitchens and thus forgot where things were because she got them all mixed up. Kitchens all had a pretty similar layout after all, so it would be easy for them all to blur together. ”I thought you might, but you never know,” he said with a slight smile at her. Now he just had to watch her move about his kitchen in an apron and wait for breakfast.
She stated what she was thinking and he smiled slightly. ”Sounds good to me,” he said simply, but he was also pretty easy going when it came to food. As long as it was edible he didn’t really care a whole lot about what it was. Though, admittedly, there was still a part of him that kind of wanted cake for breakfast. He could have some after breakfast though he supposed. ”So, other than making me breakfast, did you have any plans for today?” he asked her with a raised eyebrow. Perhaps she hadn’t planned on that, but it was happening so he was counting it as a plan now.

Petra had no trouble at all moving around Romeo's house at any point. While they hadn't known each other too long, it was long enough for her to feel completely comfortable moving around his place. Maybe it was just his personality? It put her completely at ease so she didn't mind doing stuff. And she liked cooking. He seemed to like eating, so it was a perfect situation they had fallen into.
"Not really." She stated, pulling things out of the fridge and getting to work. "I was kinda hoping you'd have ideas? I'm off today and tomorrow and Athena's off doing something. So I just need something to focus on." Anything at all would be just fine with her. And anything at all involved a lot of Romeo.

He asked if she had any plans for what to do today as she had shown up at his house and was technically the guest, but apparently she didn’t have any ideas and instead hoped he did. Oh, well his ideas were probably not going to be the best, especially since he had just woken up. ”Could always just focus on me?” he teased with a slight grin and a wink. Of course they would have to get out of bed at some point, as well they couldn’t just spend all of two days there that would be a bit ridiculous. ”I work tomorrow night, but until then I’m all yours,” he said simply. Hopefully that would be okay with her, maybe she would just sleep through his shift? He’d just make sure she was asleep before he went to work.
”I just woke up, I’m not awake enough for ideas yet, maybe I’ll come up with something in a bit,” he said with a slight shrug. Maybe after breakfast he would figure something out? ”Is there anything you’ve wanted to do and haven’t recently?” he asked her curiously.

"I like it when I focus on you." There was more and more things that she enjoyed with Romeo. It was nice to get to be around him. It was part of why she was happy to fool around with him. Maybe it would be good for them to just ignore breakfast? It could be nice, but oh well. She wasn't going to worry about it too much. "Ohh. I like it when you're all mine." Sure, he'd have to work, but that could be just fine. And she had some time off. Gus wasn't a slave driver or anything.
At first she thought about saying something about a date. But that wouldn't fully fit their relationship. They weren't dating, per say. She had no claim on him in that way. She just...broke into his house and tried to take care of him from time to time. "Oh. I haven't seen a Quidditch game in forever. Honestly, anything other then work would be good." Since she kept swapping her job around, she felt like she was always in the ministry.
She commented that she liked it when she focused on him, and he winked at her. ”Good, I’m rather fond of when you focus on me,” he responded with a bit of a smirk. Then she stated that she liked it when he was all hers, and he wondered if he should take that at more than face value. ”Do you now?” he asked, teasing slightly. Their relationship was weird, but it worked for them so that was the important part. Neither of them asked for anything more than fooling around, and he was pretty sure neither of them could really handle more than that from one another. He didn’t really do serious relationships, and she probably had some issues to work out what with her divorce and losing her baby and all that.
He asked about doing something she hadn’t in a while, and well she suggested going to a Quidditch match. Honestly he couldn’t even remember the last time he had even been to one. Probably when he was a teenager and sneaking out was kind of his only escape most of the time. ”I don’t think I’ve been to a Quidditch match since I was like thirteen. I can look up when and where the next one is though. Might not be tomorrow or today,” he said simply with a shrug.

You'd think that she would be immune to his flirting, but she couldn't help but grin at it. Without thinking, she was bright red. "Yeah. Well like....versus when you're coworkers are there." She liked being with Romeo, but she wasn't ready for any sort of real commitment. Living with Athena was really the best she could do. Otherwise she sort of freaked out around a bunch of people. Sometimes she wanted to have a boyfriend and do that stuff. But then she realized that she just couldn't do it.
"That'd be fun! How have you not been for so long? Athena gives me free tickets, since her whole family plays." Athena played as well, which was helpful. But the two of them could go ahead and manage to have a good time watching the pros play.
