"Okay," Kameron said stepping up to the counter. Once it was his turn he got each of them a Reeses since that one had clearly stuck out to Edgar and some popcorn because it wasn't a movie without it. He also got drinks to go with the salty popcorn. Once everything was in hand, he went back to the snake. "Okay, let's go."

"Did you try reading the descriptions on the packaging, because that tends to tell you exactly what it is," he said, tone not entirely condescending but enough. This wasn't saving any time at all if the snake wasn't going to even try. "Do you trust my judgement?"

It put him slightly on edge to send Edgar off on his own in a strange place for a moment, but Kameron figured giving him time to at least look at the snacks might make that go a little more quickly. Plus it wasn't as if getting the tickets for the movie was very exciting.
Once he had them both in hand, the blonde turned to look for the snake, spotting him rather easily since it wasn't too crowded yet. Hurrying over lest something bad suddenly happen, he came to a stop next to him. "Any luck?" he asked though he wasn't expecting very much.

"It's not free but unless you have Muggle money tucked away in your pocket, you're not exactly in a position to pay anything," he pointed out. Because they hadn't exactly stopped somewhere to get things transferred around. "Don't worry about it. Snacks." He turned the boy towards the stand where snacks were.

It was interesting in a way, to watching someone pick a movie solely from it's poster. Even more when it was someone that had no concept of what they were really looking at. And once the snake finally chose the one he wanted, Kameron couldn't help but to shake his head and look amused. "Of course you'd go for the horror poster..." he mumbled. "Alright then. Go look at the snacks and see if anything looks appealing. I'll be right there." It felt a bit like directing a child, but at the same it was really not at all like that.

As they walked inside the building, Kam kept an eye on Edgar to see how he reacted to it all. It could be a lot for someone that had never done something like that before, so he hoped it went okay. "Alright, so," he reached out to angle Edgar towards the wall of movie posters. "Which one of those looks the most interesting to you?" he asked.

Kameron shrugged. "All kinds. Action, fantasy, romance, sci-fi," he listed off. "Sometimes they take fictional books and make those in movies as well. That's what the cinema videos are called. Movies." He could see the sign for the building down the street now, so they were closing in quickly.

"So you know how my phone had little videos on it? A cinema is a place you go to watch really long ones made by professionals," he explained as they walked. Not that he had much of an idea what was playing, so they'd have to figure that out once they got there. That was going to be fun.

"Well," he said as they started down the street. "I was thinking about maybe the cinema? It'd be something new for you to experience without having to deal with people." There was the risk of the snake not being able to keep quiet with his questions, but Kameron felt like he could deal with that if he needed to.

Trying to teach someone how to use a phone when they had no concept of Muggle technology at all was an interesting task that Kameron hadn't really thought he'd ever have to do. Things like this were as normal to him as air. "I have no reason to try and trick you," he pointed out, pausing to listen to what station was announced. "This is our stop. C'mon."

Focus completely on the phone, Kameron failed to notice the confused glance, though that would have probably made things worse anyway. He honestly wasnt even sure what was worse: that someone was seeing the pictures he took or that it was the ones of him that got discussed. Either way, he was more than ready to move on, touching the screen where Edgar had pointed, ready to go through as many as they could.before it was time to leave the train.
@edgarhalifax Note: sorry for kind of waffling it. Otherwise we'd be on the train for 10 pages lmao

When Edgar pointed at and commented on the photos, Kameron felt his cheeks get warmer still from embarrassment. "Thanks, I guess," he mumbled. He didn't remark about selfie being a stupid name though because he agreed. He left the screen up for a moment longer before hitting the home button to close it. "That's enough of the pictures, pick another one."

"Yes, kind of like an art gallery. But with less good art and more amateur photographs." He hadn't really thought of it that way before. It had always just been a thing. "Vidoes are like moving pictures but they don't talk to you and they just loop the same thing every time." When Edgar got a proper look at what was there, Kameron felt his cheeks heat up. "Yes, those are of me. They're called selfies. It's like a self portrait kind of."

Now that they were settled into their seats, Kameron was more than happy to pull out the phone again. "Okay, so," he said as he turned it on again, "what you did before was opening the gallery. That's where it stores things like pictures and videos. And before you ask, no the pictures don't move like magic ones." He used his free hand to pull that up again, figuring it was as good a place to start as any.
